’CAUSE ALL THE KIDS THOUGHT I WAS WEIRD
When I came across “The Ghost,” I was enamored with the haunting quality to the song, and the way it described a young girl who had died, trying to maintain a routine and find her place in the world.
I decided to make the story about two “ghosts”—one metaphorical and one real. A cruel prank by an older kid brings the two of them together, and once they see each other, they remain ghosts no longer.
