When Bryan Chung and Bryan reached out to me to direct a commercial for ALABASTER, I realized that there was an opportunity here to do so much more than just staying within the realms of advertising a book. Their product spoke to me in its concept—in the way that faith and art intersect. With that in mind, I developed a concept with the team at Alabaster that would draw on various artists we knew, in their various practices—all with the intent of revealing the way that art and soul intersect.
